The Taranaki region has recently been voted the second best region on the planet to visit. Residents of course already know its charms which include the beautiful Pukekura Park, the Len Lye centre and the magnificent Mt Taranaki National Park. Along with the great attractions, the area boasts a strong economy led by the dairying and oil and gas sectors. Taranaki has lower unemployment than the national average and a growing population attracted by the livability of the region.
